Greenfields After School Club provides high-quality after school care for children attending Sandgate Primary School.
The club runs during term time from 3:00pm to 5:45pm and is available for children from Foundation Stage through to Year 2.
At the end of the school day, children are welcomed into a safe, calm and comfortable environment where they can relax, unwind and enjoy time with their friends.
Our After School Club follows a child-led, curiosity-based approach, giving children the freedom to choose how they spend their time. They can explore a wide range of authentic and natural resources, move freely between indoor and outdoor spaces, and take part in activities that reflect their own interests.
Children have access to our home corner, construction area, large and small loose parts, arts and crafts, board games and quiet spaces for reading and relaxing.
They can also enjoy our front playground, as well as opportunities to use the field and playground facilities at Sandgate Primary School, including the large outdoor apparatus and additional play equipment provided by Greenfields.
Our aim is to create a relaxed, enjoyable end to the school day where children can play, explore, socialise and simply enjoy being themselves.

Greenfields After School Club operates for 38 weeks of the year, in accordance with our published term dates.
The After School Club does not operate during school holidays or on staff development days, in line with Sandgate Primary School’s term dates.

We will send your invoice via email. Your invoice can be paid in either 1, 2, 3 or 4 installments by bank transfer, cash, child tax credits or voucher schemes. You can view your invoices, payments and receipts on your ovivio app too.
Yes, full fees still apply. Once a place is booked these allocated days will be charged for.
If you wish to cancel your child's place permanently a months written notice is required.
Places in the club can be booked on a casual basis if a space is available. You can ring up on the day or pre-book a session if your child has a completed enrolment form with us.
Yes we accept childcare vouchers and tax credits, in the after school club. please let us know which voucher company you are using to pay your fees.

Foundation children will be allocated a key person during their first year at Greenfields. The key person helps the child become familiar with the club and to meet their individual needs.
The key person will develop a partnership with your child's teacher and share updates with parents by taking photographs of your child during their time with us via our Blossom app.
Greenfields promotes learning through play using our Curiosity approach environment to support the 7 areas of learning.
Greenfields does not operate a dedicated Holiday Club for school-age children.
However, during some school holidays, we may be able to offer limited spaces to younger school-age children where availability allows.
Any holiday care place will be considered on an individual basis. We will take into account your child’s age, individual needs and whether we feel the nursery environment is suitable for them to comfortably and safely join alongside the younger nursery children attending at that time.
Spaces are limited and are not available during every school holiday.
Where a place is offered, parents and carers will be required to complete the relevant booking form before attendance can be confirmed.
