We are now starting to introduce Christmas with the children!
We are looking forward to exploring Christmas set ups to play, Christmas craft, and singing Christmas songs.
If your child would like to send Christmas cards to their friends, we have a post box in the lobby area for them to post their cards.
The last day for posting will be Monday 15th December , to give us enough time to hand out all of the cards.
Children’s Christmas parties – Tuesday 16th December and Thursday 18th December
As we have 50 children at Greenfields, will be holding 2 Christmas party days to ensure all children are able to attend and celebrate with us.
The parties will start at 11am and finish at 1pm.
If your child attends a Tuesday and Thursday all day session, please arrive and pick up as normal.
If your child only attends a morning session, please arrive as normal and pick up at 1pm.
If your child only attends a afternoon session, please arrive at 11am and pick up as normal.
If your child does not attend a Tuesday or Thursday, please see Teresa or Christina to pick a day for your child to attend.
We will be enjoying a buffet lunch and children will not require a packed lunch or hot lunch on both party days. The children will have fun playing party games, dancing, we will have a snow machine and a visit from Father Christmas. Each child will receive a present and a party bag.
We would like to thank everyone who took part in our Autumn Treasure Hunt to help raise funds for the Children’s Christmas parties. We are very grateful, and this will help us give the children a wonderful party. Starting the week beginning 8th December, we will share a party food donation list for the buffet. This is for those who were unable to take part in the Autumn Treasure Hunt to indicate which items of food they would like to donate towards the party. We would like to thank you all for your support!
Christmas Carols – Friday 19th December 2:30pm-3:00pm
We would like to invite you to join us for a Christmas festive cheer singing Christmas songs, non-alcoholic mulled wine, and mince pies. This will take place outside on our front playground so we can accommodate as many families as possible who would like to join us. This will be weather permitting (If bad weather a decision will be made on the morning). If your child attends on the Friday, they will be under your supervision when you arrive at 2:30pm. If your child does not attend a Friday session and you would like to join us, please let us know.
