During this week your child will be bringing home a sharing book in a bag.
This book is for you to share with your child at home, talking about the story line, the characters and what may happen next.
This is not a reading scheme and we do not expect the children to ‘read’ the book or remember the words. It is for you to talk about how stories are structured, beginning, middle and end. To discuss the characters, what they look like, how they may be feeling etc.and suggest possible endings.
Please enjoy the book with your child and bring it back for it to be changed when you have finished, this can be as often as you like. Your child’s Key person or Buddy will also share the book with your child and change it for you.
